Your iOS device can be transformed into an additional display monitor for Windows PCs and tablets. It allows you to view your Windows Desktop screen on your iOS device display. There are two modes available: Windows Desktop Extension (x10-sion) and Windows Desktop Duplication (mirroring/cloning).

 <li>Install the spacedesk DRIVER software on your Windows Primary PC (server). You can download it from <a href="https://www.spacedesk.net">https://www.spacedesk.net</a>.</li>
 <li>Install the spacedesk (remote display) app on your Secondary Machine (client).</li>
 <li>Open the spacedesk (remote display) app and connect to your Windows Primary PC (server). Both the server and the client must be on the same LAN and/or WAN network. Alternative connections options include Mobile Hotspot and USB Tethering. It's important to note that an internet connection is not required.</li>
</ol>

The Primary Machine, which acts as the Windows network display server, supports Windows 10 or Windows 8.1. However, Macs are not supported. You can use dual monitor and multi-monitor configurations with the spacedesk Windows drivers installed. The Secondary Machine or Device, which acts as the iOS network display client, can be an iPad, iPhone, or any device running the spacedesk iOS app. It serves as an alternative to a Miracast display (Miracast sink), AirPlay, and WiDi display monitor. Please note that video streaming performance may be lower and network load higher compared to Miracast and WiDi screens.

The network connects the Windows Primary Machine to the Secondary Machine or Device, enabling virtual display extension screens over LAN (Local Area Network) and/or WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network). The network must support the TCP/IP protocol. Wireless displays, such as WiFi, and remote monitors for Windows PCs on wired networks, such as Ethernet, are also supported.

 <li>Handy Use Cases: You can use your iOS screen to showcase your favorite gadgets like Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, etc., utilize it as a rendering screen for applications like Photoshop and AutoCAD, view Word, Excel, and PowerPoint side-by-side, read documents in portrait mode, or enjoy your favorite publications such as TechCrunch, TIME, The Guardian, Forbes, The Verge, Lifehacker, Business Insider or Wall Street Journal.</li>
 <li>Do More: This solution allows for increased productivity while on the go. By using a duplication screen or multiple screens, multitasking becomes much more efficient.</li>
 <li>System Support: Supported iOS versions are 9.3 and above, while Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 are supported on PCs. However, Macs are not compatible.</li>
